About morally,

morally, is a creative studio turned bookish brand. What started as hand lettered art evolved into something more: original designs and hand-drawn patterns on bookish goods, e-reader accessories, and more.

The name morally, combines parts of my first and last name and is meant to capture the way every story has a feeling, a message, a moral. It’s not about being moralistic (ew); it’s about storytelling and finding meaning.

By day, I’m an elementary math teacher. By night, I’m a reader, artist, and small business owner, never leaving home without my e-reader. I live with my wife and our four-year-old son, who shares my book obsession. He falls asleep surrounded by stacks of board books, and trips to the bookstore or library are some of our favorite ways to adventure.
